Soft Paws My cat had soft paws put on in Oct. One of them has not come off (its March). Can it grow into her pad?
I tried to cut it off but i can't get the soft paw to move away from her pad. I don't know if its growing into her pad or not, but i'm afraid it may be. Any ideas on how to get it off? Has this happened to anyone else? The vet and place that put them on are closed. Thanks!
Claws grow out, not in. The plastic can't move from where it's attached, so it can't grow into the pad at the base. If you're referring to the tip of the soft paw plastic, well if you see the claw growing into a circle, clip the pointed end of the soft paw off very carefully so you don't cut the quick of the nail.
